We have no idea what a
Barramundi is but we received this from these anglers from Australia:
G'day,
Thought I would send a photo of a Barramundi caught at Cardwell,
North Queensland, Australia. Fish measures 119 centimetres (or
about 4 foot in your measurement). Was caught on live 4 inch
prawn (shrimp) in a small creek using a Penn rod and an ABU
5600C4 reel loaded with 20lb Fireline. It was caught by Mike (on
the left) after a 20 minute battle, two days before the season
closed on 1 Nov 01. Scott handled the landing net but was not
really needed as the fish fought so hard and for so long that it
was exhausted by the time it was brought to the boat. We have
some good fishing here in North Queensland.
