the USA with a focus on quality and effectiveness. That extra

Water Candy Lures different from any other line of tackle.
For 23 years Capt. Jodie knew the
pressure of fishing for a living, and the rewards that come when
everything you put in the water is just right. He specialized in
hook-and-line fishing in the open ocean, trolling for tuna,
dolphin, wahoo and king mackerel in pretty much the same way
sport fishermen do. He also made money bottom fishing for
grouper and snapper, on trips that might keep him on the water
for two or three days and nights. By the time he decided to quit
commercial fishing, in 2002, Jodie Gay had figured out a thing
or two about what kind of rigs and techniques help fill up a
fish box.
Blue Water Candy Jag
The Bluewater Candy Jag is a 3-1/2
ounce, vivid bullet shaped head tied with the finest
combinations of nylon hair and bling. It is heavy enough
to run deeper for added vertical spread. Incredible fish
attracting qualities and is especially effective for large blue
fin and yellowfin tuna and wahoo. Overall length is 9".
This lure is a proven winner on the U.S. East Coast tuna
tournaments, especially for Blue Fins. Custom colors are
available.
Blue Water Candy Mini-Jag
The Blue Water
Candy Mini Jag is a 3/4 Ounce version of the Jag series. A
great additional to any spread. Use with dead baits of in
chains. Custom colors are available. Note:
Colors vary from the larger Jag Series.

Candy Ballyhoo Skirts are hand tied reversing skirts on a lead
head. Available in 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 ounce. The
1 and 2 oz heads feature holographic decal eyes and to color
paint schemes. All 2 oz heads are special order only.

were featured in Marlin Magazine for their effectiveness in
billfish dredges. These skirts feature 1/8 oz or 1 oz
painted lead heads with reversing pearlescent material.

Named for what they catch best,
Gaffer Dolphin! These skirts are a combination of a sea witch
made from hair and Mylar placed over a squid skirt. In the
Hatteras to Morehead area these have long been known to local
captains as "lanterns". Unrigged, available in 10 color
combinations.
