MateSaver
TM

MateSaverTM is
a brand new concept with regard to safety in the cockpit. This
innovative product is designed specifically for the wireman and gaff man
during record fly fishing, tournaments and big fish encounters.
Regardless of how strong you are, or how talented you are in the cockpit,
accidents do happen. To the big game boat owner: "How would you feel
if you watched your mate go overboard?" Of course that question does
not need an answer. The entire fishing industry is aware of the ever
present danger of entanglement and being pulled into the water any time
you are involved in wiring big fish.
Meets all ORC specifications.
Made of 2" nylon webbing which is
both weather and UV resistant. Welded stainless steel "D"
rings on the back provide a secure attachment point. The 2" Delrin ®
Slide
Release buckle in front allows for quick and easy "on and off".

The
Long Ranger Belt

Perfect
for the long range fishermen of Southern California and the stand-up
blue fin tuna fishermen along the eastern coast of the United States.
Regardless of where you fish and what you fish for - The Long Ranger
Belt is designed to meet the needs of stand-up big game fishermen
everywhere. When the action is fast and furious, The Long Ranger
Belt meets that demand because it is lightweight and can be worn all
day. The 5" wide dual padded waist and buttocks supports are
ideal for those of us who have lower back concerns. The effort
exerted to fight a fish standing up without the proper belt will put
a major strain on the lower back. The Long Ranger Belt transfers
that effort exerted on the lower back to the larger muscles of the
buttocks and upper legs. The Long Ranger Belt can be worn either
standup or in the chair. It can be worn with The Anglr P.A.D.
(Personal Angling Device) which comes in two sizes - large and small

| The
combination of total body weight and the lower center of gravity
gives the angler the advantage! Includes 2 dropstraps, dual adjust
side release Delrin® buckle, (30"-60") Made in the USA,

Frequently
Asked Questions
Q: I want
safety, but I already have a fighting harness belt and don’t really want
to change my existing gear right now. Can I use the MateSaverTM as my
safety attachment and still use my other gear?
A: Yes. The
MateSaverTM fits over the upper torso and will not interfere with your
existing fishing harness. The MateSaverTM is One Size Fits All.
Q: I use a
bucket harness for angling. How can I be tethered in the cockpit while
using the bucket harness (other than tying myself in with a rope)?
A: The
MateSaverTM once again can be used without interfering with the bucket
harness. Make sure that the tether does not come tight during the
angler’s full range of motion. The tether cannot aid the angler during
the fight. If the tether does come tight, that is considered
"aiding" the angler and is not IGFA compliant.
Q: I just
bought the AnglrSavrTM Adult and am not sure what to do with the adaptor
strap. What exactly is it for?
A: It is ideal
for resting your rod during your fight with light tackle applications such
as: spinning rods, fly fishing rods and open face reels.
Q: What are
the measurements of MateSaverTM and AnglrSavrTM?
A: The
MateSaverTM is One Size Fits All. The chest strap and shoulder straps are
fully adjustable. AnglrSavrTM Adult fits waist sizes from 33" -
69" & AnglrSavrTM Junior fits waist sizes 24" - 32"
Q: What is
the difference between MateSaverTM and AnglrSavrTM?
A: The main
difference between the two harnesses is the AnglrSavrTM is a combination
safety harness and fishing harness with a back support. MateSaverTM has no
back support and when used alone, it is primarily a wireman’s and gaff
man’s piece of equipment.
Q: How do I
make sure the straps don’t slip?
A: Once you have
made the adjustments and everything feels comfortable, take the excess
strapping and fold it back on itself and insert it through the glide
adjustment clip and pull tight. This will eliminate any slippage of the
strapping.
Q: I bought a
harness for each of my crew members. They aren’t going to be adjusting
the harnesses anymore and want to eliminate the excess materials from the
straps. What should we do?
A: (It’s
important that as you make your final adjustments, make sure that you lock
down each glide adjustment clip. This is done by taking the excess
strapping and folding it back on itself and inserting it through the glide
adjustment clip) Now you are ready to cut the excess strapping. The best
way to cut the material is with a hot knife. This will keep the strands
from fraying. Be sure to use good sense when cutting the material and
always keep safety in mind. You can also go to your local canvas store and
ask them to cut and seal it for you.
Q: Who should
I contact if I have questions once I buy the harnesses?
A: You can
contact us at Alltackle.com. Our sales staff has extensive knowledge of
the harnesses and the different applications. If you have a question that
absolutely stumps everyone - please give Capt. Vinnie a shout. He is the
designer and would love to hear from you.
