The International® Line
Up. Eight two speed models and seven single speed reels comprise the
International® big game lever drag series. These
world renowned lever drags cover virtually all IGFA big game line classes,
from light tackle to 130-lb. class. Penn now offers five International®
baitcasting reels. Penn's three International® fly
reels address all saltwater fly challenges, from 6 weight back country
casting to lobbing oversize flies to tuna on 14 weight lines. Nine
International® Super Glass™ rods will perfectly
match all International® lever drag big game reels.
Five International® travel rods include three
baitcasting models and two spinning models.
New Rotary Tuned™ International®
Drags. In an ongoing quest for product performance improvements, Penn
is now rotary tuning its International® drag
pressure plates to ensure a more uniform surface finish for the drag
system. A state-of-the-art, computer numerical control (CNC) lathe
rotationally machines the drag surface of these top quality stainless
steel plates to extremely accurate, exacting dimensions. Together with
Penn's original, proven (and often imitated) HT100™ drag materials, these
precision machined stainless steel plates maximize consistent drag
pressure surfaces. Never any high or low spots, inconsistent drag ranges
or erratic drag performance. When you push the drag lever from just off
free spool, up through strike and on to full drag setting, settings
increase gradually and consistently. Smoother, with a wider range of
settings, Rotary Tuned™ Internationals® are ready
to instantly take on any big game fish!
