Shimano Butterfly Flat Side Jigs
The New Shimano Butterfly
Flat-Side jig has been innovatively designed to perform the best
action in the most common situation of angle-vertical jigging
from a drifting boat.
The rear/center weight balance
design lets this jig fall to the bottom quickly with swinging
motion. The off-set eyeball position allows for the use of two
different hook length for an overall better hooking ratio.
Flat Side Jigs are designed to
fish at any depth, however, 150ft to 300 ft is optimal.
Jack, Bass, Cod, Snapper and Grouper are the target species.
Owner Dancing Stinger Hooks
and
Owner Split Rings
are sold separately and are not included with the Butterfly Jig.

The Shimano Butterfly Jigging System

the early 1990’s to catch Bluefin tuna in depths of up to 500
feet, the Shimano Butterfly Jigging System has been proven to
out fish bait in many instances when the fish are finicky and
won’t bite.
The System is based on four components, a new lure called the
Shimano Butterfly Jig which has a very unique action both on the
fall and retrieve, a new sensitive, lightweight, very durable
rod series named the Trevala, the new generation of super lines,
and our high speed, high power reels like Torsa, Trinidad and
Stella.
