Stella FE Spinning Reels

The best in spinning just got better with the new Stella FE. We aimed to make the most efficient Drivetrain in a spinning reel. We achieved our goal by using our new X-Ship feature. The result of using X-Ship makes the handle easier to turn with or without load. This makes the most important thing in fishing easier to feel the bite. Because less effort goes into turning the handle you can detect even the lightest "tick" bites.

Silent operation of parts within the reel's construction represents the attention to tight tolerances that help reduce excessive noise, resulting in the silent operation of the reels. • S Concept Represents Shimanos initial philosophy on which many of our spinning reels have been designed. The three basic ideas that are inherent in the S-Concept are Smooth, Silent and Strong.

• Twin Disk Drag (available only on models 10000 and 20000) uses 2 large diameter drag disks made of the same material used in our Tiagra reels for unbelievable amounts of smooth drag performance.
• Disk Drag (available only on models 6000 and 8000) is a large diameter drag disk made of the same material used in our Tiagra reels and is located under the arbor of the spool.
• Black Almite Super Duralumin Drive Gear (except on models 1000 and 2500) is a high strength, low weight gear that is coated to provide scratch and corrosion resistance.
• Low Wear Rate Pinion Gear (except on models 1000 and 2500) Double the hardness of our standard pinion gears for increased durability.
• A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearings) are specially treated stainless steel ball bearings are at least 10 times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings.
