Shimano Thunnus 16000F has
an Aluminum Frame and Aluminum Rotor that will not flex under load. This
reel has five ball bearings at key stress and support points as well as
Shimano Baitrunner Lever. The featured titanium coated line roller
provides effortless line travel and reduce twisting. The Thunnus is
available in three different models, the 6000F to the 16000F. The Shimano
Thunnus gearing and drive train system along with excellent rotor design
provide especially smooth yet strong reel. Shimano's new Thunnus series is
listed here at an unbeatable price, there is no better saltwater reel
available.

- Flat T Type Handle Grip
- A-RB (Anti-Rust Bearings) are
specially treated stainless steel ball bearings that are at least 10
times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball
bearings.
- Baitrunner is a secondary drag
system that allows for controlled freespool with the bail closed. By
flipping the lever or turning the handle, the primary drag quickly takes
over.
- Fluidrive uses tight tolerances
and the utmost control in the gear cutting process to provide a smooth,
powerful retrieve.
- Waterproof Drag is sealed against
the intrusion of the elements, such as water or dust.
- Super Stopper II is a one-way
roller bearing that eliminates backplay for solid hooksets, yet can be
turned on or off to allow back-reeling.
- Rubber Handle Grip is comfortable

- Dyna-Balance similar to balancing
a tire, we use counterbalancing techniques in the rotor to eliminate
wobble during the retrieve.
- Power Roller II is an oversized
line roller that reduces twist from casting and retrieving and is
enhanced with a tapered area on the support to help line get onto the
roller quicker.
- Metal Series Metal frames keep
moving parts in precise alignment for increased efficiency and
durability.
- Aerowrap worm drive oscillation
wraps the line onto the spool in a criss-cross pattern to reduce
friction and increase casting distance.
