Shimano Trevala S Jigging Rods
Trevala S utilizes a new proprietary
construction type called C4S. C4s results in incredible hoop
strength and incredibly sensitive rods. Because of this
construction we can use tiny rod diameters. These new smaller
diameters lessen the overall weight which allows you to focus on
fighting the fish and not your tackle. There is a Trevala S for
fishing every new size of Shallow butterfly jig spinning and
casting configurations are available. These very specific
actions make success an even greater probability when spot
fishing sunken stone outcroppings and wrecks. You will be amazed

Trevala F Butterfly Jigging
Rods - New 2007
The Trevala Jigging Rod is a
critical component to Shimano's Butterfly jigging system - based
on extremely productive Japanese-style jigging. It's long
butt section is designed to tuck under your arm so that you can
achieve the correct fluid jigging motion necessary for the
system. The rods are light and extremely strong.
Designed for use with Spectra Braided line, the Trevala rod has
a tremendous strength to weight ratio and is extremely sensitive
so that you can feel the bite!
Cutting Edge Technology
Shimano® has engineered the next generation of TC4 Construction.
This new construction uses a high carbon butt section fused
together with a TC4 tip section. This new blank design gives you
the pulling power of TC4 but with less weight and increased
sensitivity.

The Shimano Butterfly Jigging System
This exciting new way to catch fish
was introduced in 2005 to the U.S. fishing public through TV
shows, articles, and our new Butterfly Jigging System brochure
and DVD. The new Shimano Butterfly Jigs, new Trevala rods, super
lines, and our high speed, high power reels make up this system
that offers anglers a new way to catch a wide variety of fish,
without bait.
The Shimano Butterfly Jigging System
could be the answer to your fishing woes. Developed in Japan in
the early 1990’s to catch Bluefin tuna in depths of up to 500
feet, the Shimano Butterfly Jigging System has been proven to
out fish bait in many instances when the fish are finicky and
won’t bite.
The System is based on four components, a new lure called the
Shimano Butterfly Jig which has a very unique action both on the
fall and retrieve, a new sensitive, lightweight, very durable
rod series named the Trevala, the new generation of super lines,
and our high speed, high power reels like Torsa, Trinidad and
Stella.
The combination of these products makes catching fish easier,
more productive, and flat out fun!
