Mounting plate dimensions are 4-3/8" long and 3-15/16" wide. The tube is 9" deep and holds a 130# class rod very comfortably. The compact design of So-Lo's rod holders makes them stronger than all other manufactured rod holders.

So-Lo makes three flush mount rod holder models. STANDARD 60° (400-01), TRANSOM 75° (400-02) and 90° (400-03). So-Lo's exclusive TRANSOM ROD HOLDER is a 75° flush mount, designed specifically for use on a boat transom where a standard rod holder has too much angle to fit comfortably through the covering board. In replacing a 90° rod holder, which is commonly used for this purpose, So-Lo's TRANSOM ROD HOLDER angles the rod tip back toward the fish (where it is supposed to be). When not in use as a fishing rod holder, the TRANSOM ROD HOLDER doubles as a flagpole socket, the mount for a So-Lo BOARDER, or the mount for a BBQ Grille. So-Lo's RATCHET ROD HOLDER (400-08, 09, 10 and 11) (all Stainless Steel construction) are universal rod holders, designed to "clamp on" any standard stanchion or rail. The ratchets are investment castings indexed at 10° for fine adjustment, and are welded to the rod holder tube. The gimbal pin is stepped, snapped in place, is fully welded thru the tube and "will not break out"!   1-5/8" Inside Diameter.

So-Lo's FIXED STANCHION ROD HOLDER (400-12) (all Stainless Steel construction) is a 65° angled rod holder designed to clamp onto any standard 7/8" or 1" stanchion. When mounted on a bridge railing, these rod holders afford extra fishing or storage space for your rods without protruding inside the rails (see Outrigger Base for Center Rigger use). The FIXED STANCHION ROD HOLDER can be easily swung out of the way or removed for bridge enclosures. The gimbal pin is stepped, snapped in place, is fully welded thru the tube and "will not break out"!

So-Lo's BULKHEAD ROD HOLDER (400-13) (all Stainless Steel construction) bolts (or screws) to any vertical surface where a rod holder is needed. The straps are spaced at 3-1/4" apart for easy mounting and use 1/4" bolts or #10 wood screws. The gimbal pin is stepped, snapped in place, is fully welded thru the tube and "will not break out"!

So-Lo's OUTRIGGER BASE (400-31) is designed to convert any standard fishing rod holder into a sturdy outrigger. The OUTRIGGER BASE will accept any 1-3/8" outrigger pole. The base is indexed at 45° intervals and is reinforced for maximum strength! So-Lo's STANDARD FLUSH MOUNT ROD HOLDERS, three piece Fiberglass Outrigger Poles, and OUTRIGGER BASES make the ideal combination for small boats. When not needed, simply remove and collapse your outriggers, and you have an extra set of quality fishing rod holders ready to use. So-Lo's Outrigger Pole and OUTRIGGER BASE make an ideal Center Rigger when used in a FIXED STANCHION ROD HOLDER on a bridge railing.

So-Lo's ANGLE ROD HOLDER (400-51) (all Stainless Steel construction) is an extension rod holder built on a 30° angle and fits into a standard flush mount rod holder. The gimbal end cap is indexed at 45° increments which allows you to set your rod outboard or inboard at 30° or 15°. When anchored or drifting and the drift (or chum slick) goes one way and your boat goes the other way, index the ANGLE ROD HOLDER to the drift. "Keep your rod tip pointed in the right direction". All seams are fully welded. The gimbal pin is stepped, snapped in place, is fully welded thru the tube and "will not break out"! The WISHBONE & ANGLE ROD HOLDERS are rated for 130# class equipment and are a must for "canyon fishing".

Short butt stand up rods (straight and bent) and spinning rods can be fished from the arms of your fighting chair or unusually deep rod holders.
