For Tautog (blackfish) fishing, we recommend
the Shimano Convergence Rods with a Shimano Torium Reel.
This rod is made for Muskie fishing, but is perfect for Tautog
fishing. This setup does the trick for pulling hard
fighting Togs out of the rocks, reef or wreck. We
recommend
Power Pro Braided Spectra Fiber Line
and custom alltackle Tog rig 10 packs. Use 2 oz sinkers
and live green crab or live or frozen sand fleas.

series of reels. The Torium (non-levelwind) reels represent
